A shaker baghouse can range in size from hand size to large scale units and are popular in the minerals processing industry. They are designed so that the dirty gas enters the bottom of the baghouse and then passes through the filter, where the dust collects on the inside surface of the bags. In a shaker baghouse, the dust is physically shaken from the bag in order to knock off the dust.
